About this project
Originally built in the 1980s, this large bungalow lacked a clearly defined entrance and its slightly sprawling footprint wrapped around a small, underused courtyard.
By creating an infill extension within the courtyard area, we were able to create a fabulous new entrance hallway, reduce the large amounts of wasted corridor space and gain access to the loft space via the new stairs.
The house now has a new bedroom on the first floor with the potential to add a second new bedroom and another bathroom on the first floor at a later date
