ARP Architects - Exeter

Bungalow Conversion, Torcross

ARP Architects were given the brief to convert a 1960’s bungalow into a two storey home. We asked them to make the most of the fantastic views, from our property, overlooking Slapton National Nature Reserve. We also asked them to design a house which made the most of natural daylight and to give us maximum insulation to minimise heat loss in the winter. ARP Architects achieved all this, over and above our expectations.

Our builders said they had never worked with such accurately drawn and measured drawings. At the end of the project our builder asked us if there was anything we would change, if we were to start over again. To which we replied that there was absolutely nothing we would alter. Our builder was amazed and told us it was the first time that one of his clients had ever said this.

Andrew listened to all our requirements and made sure that the builder understood every detail. He was always available to give advice and suggest solutions when any problems arose.

If we ever undertake another building project, we will certainly engage the services of ARP Architects again. Thank you Andrew, we are very happy in our new home.

Loft Conversion & Rear Extension, Honiton

Andrew took a professional and constructive approach throughout the whole process. He took on board our ideas and came up with a design that could be built in two stages to meet our needs.

From initial design ideas through to completion Andrew was on hand to support us and our builders.

We would have no hesitation in recommending ARP Architects to others.

The finished design has exceeded our expectations and transformed the way we live in our home. Thank you.

We worked with ARP Architects to create our perfect family home.

Andrew helped change our boring 1980’s bungalow into a wow home that uses new light and space to give it its stylish and practical transformation. Thanks again

Conversion Of A Grade II Listed Barn, Near Credition

Taking on the conversion of Grade II Listed Granary was a daunting prospect at 82 years old, but once I had appointed Andrew as my architect and project manager it all seemed possible. Andrew visited the site and then me at home. We discussed what I wanted in great detail and his sympathetic understanding of my needs was very reassuring.  Plans were drawn up in great detail and his attention to detail on his regular visits during building work ensured that any problems were sorted out as they occurred.  He was always contacted easily when necessary. The project was delivered on time and almost within the original budget thanks to his vigilance.  I can thoroughly recommend him.
